George Edward Fisher

George Fisher, age 60, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 27, 2016.
He retired as a supervisor from the City of Columbus Water Department and was currently the Crew Chief for C H Motorsports.
George will be remembered for his integrity in the Sprint Car racing community and was highly respected and loved by all who knew him. George was a dedicated husband and father to his loving family.
Surviving family includes wife, Raquel Fisher; children, Katherine Fisher, Joseph Fisher; step-children, Dustin Smith and Annie Wright; brothers, Dave and Charlie Fisher.
Preceded in death by sister, Julie Padgett; brother, Paul Fisher; parents, James E.D. and Myrtle Fisher.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 10AM - 1PM at Good Shepherd Community Church, 210 Obetz Rd., Columbus, OH 43207.
A funeral service will immediately follow visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home by visiting www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
