Nancy Greer, 77, of Columbus, OH, passed away on June 15, 2017. She was born on June 7, 1940 in Johnson County, KY.
She was a Sunday School teacher at Westgate Baptist Church and enjoyed umpiring softball for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thorton and Aileen Goble, sisters, Joyce Goble, Jewell Salyer, Maggie Flock, aunt, Norma Lee Vance and grandmother, Susan Horn.
Surviving family includes husband, Sam, children, Samuel Ray (Carrie Richardson) Greer, Norma (Richard) Williams, grandchildren, Sarah Bright, Alex Bright, Samuel Ray Greer II, Sean Williams, Ian Williams, great-grandson, Hunter Bota, siblings, Willy (Lilly) Goble, Ella Mae (Phil) Dalton, Virgil Ray Goble, 4 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A funeral service will be held at 10am, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
