Mary "Dude" Brooks, 65, passed away September 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Abbott; sister, Elizabeth Hemming. Survived by husband, James Brooks; children, Sheila Ross, Trisha Herderick, James Ross, and John Ross; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Stephanie Hemming; brother, Todd Hemming.
Visitation Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery (new), Grove City, OH.
