John Price

John K. Price passed away suddenly on October 17, 2015 at OSU Hospital. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert R. Price and Marian L. (Goodyear) Price.
John is survived by daughter, Chloe S. (Price) Lambert; fiancée, Victoria L. DeRan; brother, George A. (Debi J.) Price; nephew, John L. Price; niece, Cammie M. Price; and family pets, Woody and Festus.
John graduated from Westland High School in 1976. He graduated from OSU/ATI in 1978 with an Associate's Degree in Farm Business and Livestock Management. John was larger than life and lived his life to the fullest. He was a great believer in finding the humor in everyday situations and never met a joke he didn't like. Through his livestock and produce business he made friends all over the state and will be missed by everyone who knew him. John raised champion hogs and had pet names for most of them. He made friends with any animal he met and they were excellently cared for because John believed that if you had any livestock they deserved the best of care.
Gathering Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Memorial Service Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at 11 am at the Funeral Home.
