Robert L. Moffitt III, 74 of Columbus, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on April 20, 2016.
Born on July 22, 1941 to the late Robert L. Jr and Thelma (Vilbrandt) Moffitt in Columbus, OH.
Robert loved American History, enjoyed reading and collecting coins and stamps.
Worked 40 years at General Motors/Delphi.
Survived by wife of 52 years Joellen (Binegar) Moffitt, children Robert Lee (Heidi) Moffitt, IV and Tracey Anne (Patrick) Jones, grandchildren Robert Lee Moffitt V, Megan Marie Long, Caitlin Louise Long, Joseph Alan (Kaci) Moffitt, Taylor Christine Jones, Anna Elizabeth Moffitt, Timothy Michael Moffitt, Haley Rose Jones, Madison Leigh Jones and Natalie Grace Moffitt, great grandchildren Robert Lee Moffitt, VI and Emma Lynn Moffitt and a brother Michael Gene (Kathy) Moffitt.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.
Funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11am with Gerald Ridenour officiating.
Burial to follow at Kirkersville Cemetery, Kirkersville, OH.
