Mary Kathleen Parrett

Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Parrett, 59, of Columbus, passed away on May 30, 2016, at Mt. Carmel West Palliative Care Unit. She was born on November 23, 1956, and was a 1975 graduate of Franklin Heights HS in Columbus, OH.

Kathy was a longtime legal secretary and most recently was employed by Ohio Self Insurers Association. She was a faithful Christian and taught children's Sunday school for over 30 years.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Mary Hixon; brothers, Larry (Catherine) Parrett, Harold Parrett, Jack (Ethel) Parrett; sisters, Karen Adams and Sandy (Tom) Kincaid; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, June 2, 2016, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with the Funeral Service on Friday, 11 AM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
