Daniel M. Barr, age 65, was born on September 29, 1950 and went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2016.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Dan was born and raised in Franklin County and was the second oldest child of Robert H. Barr Jr and Rose (Budd) Barr. Dan loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, golf and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved his puppy Molly.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Beverly (Roope) Barr; brothers, Robert H. Barr III and Jeff (Gabby) Barr; sister, Julie Barr-Campbell; children, Jamie Barr, Paul Cunningham, Kimberly Rife, Mike (Jen) Barr, Christopher (Ericka) Barr, Cheri Barr; grandchildren, Danielle, J.B., Ian, Kyle, Kaleb, Nikki, Jeremiah, Adrian, Lexy, Lacy, Cohen; great-grandson, Gavin; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Family and friends will gather on Sunday, August 14, 2016, 1-3 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with the Funeral Service at 3 PM.
