Karen S. Marriott, age 63, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Pickering House. She was born on June 29, 1953 in Columbus, OH to Hugh and Betty Smith.
Karen was a true people person and never met a stranger. She was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Smith. She is survived by her loving husband, Garry Marriott; daughters, Kelly Haslett and her fiancé, Rick Hess, Bobbi Reynolds, Andrea Marriott and Melissa (Duane) Postler; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Chris, Quinton, Mattie and Titus; father and mother-in-law, Harry and Ester Marriott; brother-in-law, Michael Marriott and sister-in-law, Mary Kay Marriott.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Pickering House.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Karen's memory may be made to the Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130 or any Humane Society of your choice.
