Anita Reed, 86, of Gahanna, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Sunrise of Bexley.
She was born July 27, 1930 in Springfield, daughter of the late Vernon Ray and Nellie Elizabeth Bowser Little.
In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Hawley L. Reed.
She is survived by her children, Larry L. (Talicha) Reed, David A. (Tanya) Reed and Joyce Reed Vaeth; grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul) Rudecki, Amanda Reed, Jess (Ashley) Reed, Victoria Reed, Michael Vaeth II, Laura Vaeth; great grandchildren, Joshua Reed and Gabriel Vaeth; cousin, Kathy Welch.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Senior Independence Hospice, 1001 Kingsmill Parkway, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
