Susan J. Smith, 73 of Whitehall, passed away at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on October 8, 2016. Born on June 22, 1943 to the late Richard and Mary (Dunlap) Stires in Columbus, OH. Survived by brother Robert E. (Cheryl) Stires of Tallmadge, OH, nephew Christopher (Christina) Stires, niece Tamera Stires and great nieces Ariana and Scarlet Stires. Susan is reunited with her loving husband Thomas Smith.
