Helen Joan Dearth, age 75, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016. She was born on January 22, 1941 in Crestline, OH to the late Paul and Angeline Scanlon.
Helen graduated from Crestline High School in 1959. She graduated from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in 1962. Helen worked and retired from Mt. Carmel Hospital in 2002 after many years of dedicated service.
She is preceded in death by her sister, MaryAnn Kossick. Helen is survived by her husband of 51 years, William "Cliff" Dearth; children, Koreen (Michael) Derleth, Brian (Karen) Dearth and Renee Dearth; grandchildren, Allyson and William "Will" Derleth, Stefan (Layla) Weber, Ashley Weber (Sean) Iverson, Karlie and Macie Dearth; great grandchildren, Peyton and Parker; sister, Winifred Myers; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends and former co-workers.
The family will receive friends from 2-6 pm, Friday, November 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, S.W., 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH where the funeral service will be held at 6 pm.
