Virgil D. Tilton
January 4, 1932 — November 9, 2016
Virgil D. Tilton, 84, of Grove City, OH passed away on November 9, 2016 following an extended battle with Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia. Born in Caldwell, OH on January 4, 1932; he retired from Yellow Motor Freight and was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Nellie, and siblings Glenna Radcliff, Dwight and Merwin Tilton.
Survived by his wife, Virginia (Ward) Tilton, daughter Melissa (Chris) Tucker, son Jeff (Anna), grandchildren Joseph, Chloe, Luke and other extended family.
An honorary military service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be held on Thursday April 13, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
