Ronald M. Stevens, age 70, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017.
Veteran of the U.S. Army. Member of Teamsters Local 413 for over 30 years. He was the owner of SSR Racing Engines and was a lifelong racer, builder and mentor in the stock car, dwarf car, and go-karting community.
Surviving family includes wife, Doris; son, Jerry (Misty) Stevens; granddaughters, Emily and Addison Stevens; sister, Elayne Duncan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Preceded in death by parents, John "Jerry" and Betty Stevens and Jeannine (Harold) Duncan; sister, Marcy Freeman.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4 -8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017, 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
