Walker, Lillie Imogene (Jean), passed from the loving arms of her family to the open arms of Jesus on Jan. 7, 2017. Jean was born on Feb. 13, 1936 to Mitchell and Leatha Borders in Ashland, KY.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty and granddaughter, Nicole. She is survived by the love of her life, Ron Walker, with whom she enjoyed 63 years of marriage; 3 children: Renee (John) Sleeper, Kym (Mike) Inks and Eric (Joy) Walker; 10 grandchildren, Dustin, Alex, Paige, Matt, Stephane, Joey, Sean, Erica, Hannah and Luke; 6 great-grandchildren: Dominic, Tyler, Marcos, Tristan, Kyle Jr and Kennedy; her precious fur baby, Lily Grace; Sister, Kathy Million; Brothers, Mitchell Borders Jr., Doug (Betty) Borders; cousin, Pauline Elswick, caring neighbors, nieces, nephews and incredible friends.
Jean graduated from Ashland H.S. in 1953, received an Associate Degree from Columbus State in 1989 and retired from National City Bank in 2001. She was a member of Meadow Park Church and showed the love of God to all she met. She was a loving and caring person and our lives are better for having her as a wife, mom and friend.
We will celebrate her life on Friday, January 20 at Meadow Park Church, 2425 Bethel Road, Cols, OH 43220. Family visitation 12:30 pm and Service 1:30 pm.
