Linda L. Smith, age 82, left this world on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
She was born February 1, 1935 to the late Edwin C. and Ruth N. (White) Hook.
Linda was a homemaker and a very good cook. She enjoyed visiting with her family. She liked coffee, coupons, dancing at the VFW, having yard sales and unfortunately, cigarettes.
Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, Daniel T. Smith; sister, Mary Hook; brothers, Edward and William Hook and great-granddaughter, Dalynaca Watrous.
She is survived by her daughters Gloria Polesovsky and Christine Smith; grandchildren, Shawn (Alyson) Watrous, Michelle (Steven) Blackburn, Valerie Bartlett and Andrea Bartlett; grand-pups, Ben, Jack, Natty and Si; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; sister, Ruth Ann Whaley and sister-in-law, Carolyn (Charles) Nance.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 10, 2016 from 9-10 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, where funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Entombment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
