Clayton Harrell, 77, of London, OH, passed away on March 12, 2017. He was born on December 10, 1939.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Retired pipefitter from Local 189 in Columbus, OH. The thing he loved most was family gatherings. His wife was the love of his life for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Harrell and Ruth Katschke; brother, Willard Harrell; sisters, Florence Corn, Betty Casias, Irene Lincoln and Marie Winkler;
Surviving family includes wife, Lona; children, Brenda (Jack) Bowshier, Richard (Tanya) Harrell, Rebecca (Terry) Chiles, John (Susan) Harrell and David Harrell; grandchildren, Westley, Christopher, Richie, Samantha, Ryan, Leia, Jacob, Page, Isaac, Clayton, December, Brook, Brittany, Sunshine, Breanna, Ella and Luke; and 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Della Kalady, Caroline (Bill) Casias; brothers, James (Dee) Harrell and Andrew (Ann) Korenchan; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held from Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
