Erma L. Miller

Erma L. (Mayes) Miller, 82, of Centerburg, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Erma was born in Henderson, WV on July 5, 1934, to Robert and Elizabeth (Jordan) Mayes Sr and is preceded in by her parents, Robert Mayes, Sr and Elizabeth (Jordan) Dunkle; son, Phillip "Randy" Yeauger; brothers, Robert Mayes Jr and James Mayes; sisters, Norma Holcomb and Sarah Mayes.

Erma is survived by her children, Pamela (Jim) Kelley of Centerburg, Michael (Shirley) Yeauger, of TN, Donald (Anita) Miller, of Gahanna, Kathy (Danny Parker) Miller, of Columbus, Russell (Kelly) Miller II, of Reynoldsburg, Karen (Dan) Berry, of Columbus; sister, Ellen (Russell) Doddroe; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; aunts, Eva Long and Jean Casto; former husband, Russell Miller; sisters-in-law, Thelma Miller and Ruth Ann Patterson; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, April 14, 2017, 4-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 6 PM.

Erma's family would like to thank the staff at Centerburg Pointe Nursing Home for the care given to their mother, especially nurse Jenny, Kriste Adams, who kept her looking good and the Capital City Hospice caregivers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Capital City Hospice or the donor's favorite charity.
