Marcia Ann (Boell) McVey, 80, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 in Hendersonville North Carolina. Marcia was born January 24, 1937 in Lincoln Nebraska to Harold and Dorothy (Hill) Boell.
Marcia was a beloved mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a homemaker extraordinaire, gourmet cook and amazing baker. She loved the holidays, and was known for the beautiful platters of Christmas cookies she gifted to many over the years.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years Donald; sons Douglas and Donald II.
Survived by children Daniel (Molly) McVey, Wendy (Mike) Mosier, Cindy (Peter) Hoelderle, Darwin (Connie) McVey; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Robert) Rauth; brother, Richard Boell. Marcia will be deeply missed by family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday August 25, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Grove City, from 5-8pm. A family celebration of life will be Saturday August 26, 2017 at the funeral home at 10am. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
