He is preceded in death by his parents Wally and Mary Starrett.
Mark is survived by his wife, Sheila Starrett; daughters, Nicole and Brittany Starrett; grandchildren, Jaylin, Cameron and Avery; brother, Michael (Diane) Starrett.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation. He will be laid to rest at Mifflin Cemetery.
