Timothy R. Conner, 69, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Westerville OH. Tim was born in Olean, New York to the late Cleo Conner and Virginia (Oakleaf) Conner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lucy A. Conner; mother, Virginia Conner and brother, David Conner (Lauren Ross); nieces, Melanie Conner and Erica Byers; one grand-niece, Lydia; two grand-nephews, Avery and Ian.
Tim was a sergeant in the United States Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years of service. Tim and Lucy were longtime members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. They were also members of Ohio Pug Rescue and lovingly fostered numerous pugs over the years. Tim was an active member of The Worthington American Legion Post 239 Color Guard and was an avid antique car enthusiast. In Tim's retirement, he drove a school bus for various local schools.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231 where the funeral service will begin immediately afterwards. He will be laid to rest at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Portville, NY.
