Grogan, Barbara J. 81, born July 23, 1936 Dayton,Ohio passed away November 1, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio where she resided since 2005. Preceded in death by her parents Myron Sr. & Virginia Coleman, brother Virgil, husband Harmon. She leaves behind to cherish memories Brother Myron Coleman Jr., children Michael Weaver, Mark Weaver, Carmen(Gregg) West, Paula Fletcher, a host of nieces and nephews, 6 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, a host of great grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends. She retired from The Dayton Board of Education Food Services Dept. in 1986. Was a life long member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church Dayton, Ohio, where she served on the Missionary Society. She always had a smile on her face with a grateful heart, and she loved everyone and told you so.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to Cerebral Palsy Research at Nationwide Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43205 or Making Strides for Breast Cancer, American Cancer Society, 1198 Kenny Centre Mall, Columbus, OH 43220.

Visitation will be held 6:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday, November 9th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road Columbus, Ohio and on Friday, November 10th, from 10:00am until time of funeral services at 11:00am at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church 3620 Shiloh Springs Road Trotwood, Ohio with Rev. James E. Washington officiating.

Interment West Memory Gardens Cemetery.
