Ruthie Mae Stevens, 70, passed away on January 27, 2018. She was born on October 30, 1947 in Rayville, LA.
She was a graduate of Eula D. Britton High School. She worked for child care for the state of Ohio Concessions, school bus driver, home health care worker and business owner. She married Bill on December 28th, 1966. Ruthie enjoyed dancing, singing and cooking. She was a faithful Jehovah's Witness servant.
Surviving family includes husband of 51 years, Bill, son, Lamar (Garalena) Stevens, daughter, Sonya Stevens, brothers, Leandrew (Louvenia) Tribett, Charles Tribett, grandchildren, Shaniqua Stevens, Shatasha Stevens, Lamar M. Stevens, great-grandchildren, Jeffery David Moorer Jr. Brooklyn Moorer, Shaniyah Wesley, Lamar Stevens Jr., La'ny Stevens.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
