Chad Alan Harness, 46, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Chad was born January 24, 1972 to Donald Harness and Sandra (Fee) Essig.
He loved spending time hunting, fishing, boating. Chad spent time working on anything with a motor.
He was married to Melody (Phillips) for 15 years.
Chad will be deeply missed by his wife; children Christina Ruffing, Chad Alan Harness Jr., Jason Wonders, Corie Harness; grandchildren Jameson and Addison Ruffing; mother Sandra (Les) Essig ; brothers Roy (Suzie) Harness and Brian Harness and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 2pm to 3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
Memorial services will follow at 3pm at the funeral home with Pastor Anita Dawson officiating.
