Rita Gail Damron, 55, went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Westerville, OH. after a lengthy illness. Rita was born on May 15, 1962 in Pikeville, KY to Lowell and the late Sarah (Duty) Damron.
She is survived by her father, Lowell Damron; siblings Karen (James) Dotson, Trudi (Pat) LeMaster, Troy Nace, Pamela (John) Spires, and Kevin (Perla) Damron. She was a loving aunt to 9 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces, and 3 great-nephews.
Gail was a graduate of Westerville North High School Class of 1980. She spent much of her life caring for the elderly in many homes in the Westerville area. She was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and wrestling.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 10 am to 12 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 12 pm also at Newcomer NE Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
