Robert R. "Bob" Maxwell, age 79, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was born on August 14, 1938 in Columbus, OH.
Bob was a 44 year veteran of the Columbus Fire Department, having retired as a Lieutenant.
Surviving family includes wife of 56 years, Janeen Maxwell; children, Janeen (Mark) Capriotti, Kurt Maxwell and Craig Maxwell; grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Drew, Henry and Rain; siblings, Dave (Jeanette), Bill (Daleen), Tom, Dwight, Maggie and Kathy.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Margaret Maxwell; brother, John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 12-4PM, with memorial service beginning at 1:30PM. Services will be held at Columbus Professional Firefighters, International Association of Firefighters, Local 67, 379 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215, with Pastor Larry Baker officiating.
Donations may be made to Kobacker House.
