Ruth Starr, age 82 of Westerville, passed away at her residence on July 22, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1936 to the late Charles and Amy (Fulkerson) Toohey in Barnesville, OH. She retired from Fruehauf Trucking and AEP after 21 years. Ruth is survived by daughters Linda Marcum and Theresa Turner, grandchildren Cherina Pfleager-Hall, Chad (Christina) Lucas, Phillip Pfleager, James F. Turner, Jr., great grandchildren Chad Allen Lucas, II, Kaitlynn Reynolds, R.J. Turner, John Robert Hall, James Geoffrey Turner, siblings Norma Hannahs, Ronald Toohey, Frances Watson and Mary Leopard, special friend Sharon Sheets, Sharon Carter and Julie Rhodeback. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son-in-law James F. Turner.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 1pm.
Burial to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
