Earl E. Holt, 85, of Columbus, passed away August 10, 2018 at his home.
Earl was born on February 8, 1933 in Richmond, OH.
He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, stock car racing, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Earl retired from the Operator's engineer union and served in the United States Navy.
Earl will be deeply missed by his children Diane Ledsome, Edward Holt, Kathie Holt (Chuck), Bonnie (Greg) McCandless, David (Karen) Holt; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother David; sister Esther.
Earl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Geraldine; grandson, Paul Ledsome and sisters Alice, Dorothy, and Norma.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 4 to 7pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus. Funeral services will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 12pm with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home with Pastor Harold Ball officiating. Burial will be at Mifflin Township Cemetery, where military rites will be held.
