Carolyn J. Pollitt, 84, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Dublin, OH. Carolyn was born on March 25, 1934 in Lakewood, OH to the late Steve and Betty (Wade) Molnar.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Pollitt and infant daughter, Deborah.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas E. (Denise) Peters, Jr., Susan L. (Kirk) Pottner, Marcella J. (Joseph) Kiereck, Nancy A. Taliaferro; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicholas, Lisa, Laura, Rachael, Daniel, David, Bryan, Robert, Angela; great-granddaughter, Harmony; sisters, Cherie M. (Daniel) Tanedo and Cindy M. (Jack) Freda.
Carolyn's greatest joy in life was her family. She was loved for her fun and vivacious personality. Carolyn was a graduate of Rocky River High School and retired from UTU in Lakewood, OH.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 10am to 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231 where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for the special care provided to Carolyn at The Sanctuary at Tuttle and by Capital City Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carolyn's honor to Columbus Humane, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, OH 43026.
