John James

John James Jr. age 88 of Columbus, passed away at his residence on October 1, 2018. He was born on July 6, 1930 to the late William and Nevada (Clark) James in Mahan, WV. John served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korea Conflict and Vietnam War. John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Marie (Ascento) James, children Pastor Gregory (Cynthia) James, John James, III and Kenneth (Meka) James, host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, special friends Marshall and Marge Davis, Sgt. Sam and Bea Daniels, Francene Baptiste, Lee Thomas, Sally and Will Gibson. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by children Roy James, Rochelle James and Micheal James, siblings Frank James, Jessie James, Clark James, Gladys Evans, Christopher James and William James.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 11am until time of service at 12pm with Pastor Gregory James officiating.
