Richard was born in Columbus, OH on July 27, 1941. His family loved him so very much. He had five strokes and spent his last three and a half years in a nursing home. His loving wife, Janet, visited him every day. He is preceded in death by his parents Loretta and Kenny Strickler, his brother Allen and Allen's wife Evelyn Strickler, brother-in-law; Danis Zelenko, and sister-in-law; Barbara Strickler. He is leaving behind two brothers; Danny and Fred Strickler, two sisters; Ruth Zelenko and Mary Sue Dickerson (husband Darrell), his daughter Michelle Fisk, and two sons; Geoffrey (wife Amy) Strickler, and David (wife Dawn) Strickler. His grandchildren; Drew Ott, Heather Strickler, Megan Wohr, Kirsten Strickler, and Rachel Fisk, D.J. Strickler, P.J. Strickler, Hailey Wright, Natalie Wright, and Jonathan Wright, as well as two great-grandchildren Annabelle and Katherine Wohr are being left behind. In addition, more friends and family than can be named; he will be missed greatly. Funeral services will be at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
