James J. "Jim" Sayre, age 71 of Canal Winchester, passed away at Grant Medical Center on November 30, 2018. He was born on September 10, 1947 to the late Joseph and Janeth (Schmeitzel) Sayre in Columbus, OH. Jim is survived by siblings Pete (Ellen) Sayre and Linda (John) Fairchild, nieces Amy (Bill) Witherspoon, Angela Sayre and Kelly (Casey) Tuthill.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 10am until time of service at 12pm.
Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Chalmers P. Wylie VA ACC, 420 N James Rd., Columbus, OH 43219, in James Memory.
