Violet J. Williamson, 85, of Columbus was born Jan 4, 1933, and passed away January 1, 2019.
Violet was preceded in death by: parents, Harry and Alice (Horne) Mullin; husband and love of her life Vic Williamson; brother Harry Mullin; sister Roma; daughter-in-law Mary Pistole and special friend Bob Jones.
Violet is survived by children: Pamela Lowery, Rick (Sharon) Pistole, Melissa Zaglanis, and Steve Pistole. Violet is also survived by her sister Pansy Dickson; 4 grandchildren: Angela (Drew) Johnson, Joe (Kim) Pistole, Nick (Amanda) Pistole, Krista (Dallas) King; 8 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vi retired from both the Ohio Bell Telephone Co., and Lindsay Automotive. She loved traveling, quilting, ballroom dancing, and spending time with her beloved family. Vi had the most beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Her light will continue to shine in the memories she left of a life well lived. She will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 10am to 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Union Cemetery.
