John Douglas Burgett

Johnny Douglas Burgett, age 69, went to his heavenly home on January 18, 2019. Son of the late John Burgett and the late Betty Gale Crigger. Born February 7, 1949.
He was a graduate of Franklin Heights High School class of 1967. John was a member of Brown Road Community Church in Columbus and was retired from Marrowbone Development as a heavy equipment operator.
Preceded in death by brother, Tim Douglas Burgett and sister, Pamela Crigger Nichols, along with his aunts and uncles.
Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Bonnie; daughter, Marla Stevens; son-in-law, Terry; granddaughter, Abigale; brothers, Rick (Diana) Burgett, Billy R. (Angela)Burgett, David (Liz) Burgett and Rocky (Wendy) Burgett.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 5-8PM at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12PM at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery-New Section.
