Marvin A. Green

Marvin A. Green, age 82, went to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday March 13, 2019. He was born in Lucasville, Ohio to Virgil and Lida Green on September 21, 1936. He is predeceased by his parents, Loving wife of 59 years, Maxine J. Green, son, Danny L. Green and 10 brothers and sisters. Marvin is survived by his sons: Marvin E. Green, Kenneth E. Green, Randy A. (Carmen) Green, daughter-in-law, Ruth Green, grandchildren: Rebekah (Elvin) Vallejo, Nicholas Green, Stacia Green, Kenneth A. Green, Daniel Green, Rachel Green, John Green and Lillian Green, great-grandchildren: Dezmend DieRinger and David DieRinger and siblings: Ulysses (Helen) Green, Ruth Dever and Virgil (Shirley) Green. Marvin will be missed by many other family members and friends as well as his church family.

Marvin worked for Big Bear for over 40 years until his retirement. He was an active member of Missionary Baptist Mission in West Jefferson, Ohio. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed finding all the 'state' quarters. He was a VW enthusiast and also enjoyed writing and singing songs for family and friends.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday March 19, 2019 from 11 am - 1 pm with a funeral service to directly follow at 1 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Burial to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
