Martin Anthony Fox

Martin (Marty) Fox, age 63, passed away on May 11, 2019 after an almost yearlong fight against lymphoma.

A graduate of Rivet High School in Vincennes, Indiana, Marty attended the Ohio Institute of Technology and attained a Technicians Diploma in Electronics. He worked at Ohio State University in the Facilities Operations and Development department, retiring after 30 years.

Marty held an avid interest in electronics and Ohio State football, often working during football games at Ohio Stadium to support the broadcasts and other electronic installations. He also loved nature, often going to parks and taking vacations in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to the Smoky Mountains.

Martin Fox was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ester Fox, his sister, Martha Jackson, and his brother David (Davey) Fox. He will be missed by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Fox, his son, Michael Fox, his sisters Carol Yochum, Annette Birk, Kathy Small, and their families as well as his mother-in-law, Barbara Alsman.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 20th, 2019 at 2pm located at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH. Family is welcome to arrive as early as 1pm with visitation after the service.
