John M. Brewer

John M. Brewer 69 of Columbus passed on July 28, 2019. He was born on April 5,1950 in Columbus to John and Rosemary (Kingry) Brewer who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his wife Elaine (Hayes) Brewer and a brother Rick Brewer. He is survived by his partner of 16 years Rosemary Hanson, children Patty (David) Breden, Linda Chapman, Dean Andrix, Shannon Andrix, John K. Brewer, Staci (Joey) Burnett, 2 step children Amy Wise, Trent Hanson, many grand and great grand children and many nieces and nephews, and the awesome nephew Carl Speckman. 2 sisters Lynda (George) Nunley, Christine Ford.

John was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Palmer-Donovan. He enjoyed NASCAR and previously raced at the Columbus Motor Speedway. He loved the Buckeyes.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 2 from 10 to 12 noon at the Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road Columbus, OH 43231, with a funeral service at noon. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family.
