Floyd Smith 84 of Columbus was called home on Dec. 2, 2019. He was born on April 6, 1935 and was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Violet (Dickson) Smith and daughter Erica Smith-Penick, along with 7 brothers and sisters. Survived by wife Betty, brothers Lewis Smith, Charles Smith, and sister Frances Wright. Two sons Mike (Frances), and Mark (Darlene) Smith. Daughters Connee (Tim) Underdown and Mona Rustin. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He retired after 30 years from Abex and 8 years from Boys Ranch.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11am Monday Dec. 9, 2019 with a funeral service at 11am at St John AME Church 7700 Crosswoods Drive Columbus, OH 43235. To leave a message for the family, please click on the "Share Memories" tab above.
