Karen Sue Holly

Karen Sue Holly, age 67, of Columbus Ohio. Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family after an aggressive battle with Stage 4 Melanoma cancer. Monday May 18, 2020.

Karen was born on December 21, 1952 to the late Billie Jean Romano and Cassem Herman.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who cherished the time that she spent with her family and friends. Karen was loved by many. To know her was to love her. She truly lit a room when she entered with her bubbly personality and smile.

Karen worked as a server at Red Lobster for more than 25 years where she was in her element serving customers, and making sure everyone was well taken care of. Karen enjoyed vacationing, trips to the beach, attending her grandchildren's events and family get togethers.

Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Billie Jean Romano; father, Cassem Herman; grandfather, George Hamilton; grandmother, Goldie Hamilton; sister, Nancy Miller.

Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Randy Holly; daughters Lisa Holly; Angelena (Mike) Burnes; son George (Angel) Holly. Karen's grandchildren include Randi, Michael, Kayla, Christina, Preston, Heather, Abigail and Kaitlin. Great grandchildren include Holden, Kambree, Keilee, Zachary, Kaelynn and Theodore. She also leaves behind 3 sisters and a brother, numerous cousins and friends. Special mention to her Aunt Lou and close friends Patty, Katie and Bee.
