John H. Caudill, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2020. He was born on January 12, 1938 in Wheelersburg, Kentucky to the late Willie and Sola Ann Caudill.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents; loving wife of 25 years, Barbara Sue Caudill; daughter, Bernadine Downs; brother, James Hubert Caudill.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma "Micky" Caudill; his children, Linda Sue (Kerry) McDaniels, Jennifer (Jay) Lintz, Mike (Ruth Ann) Caudill, David (Jennifer) Caudill, and his step daughters, Dawn Cash, Diane (Chris) LeVaillat, Terry Arnold, and Dottie Besonen; grandchildren, Noah Colvin, Shane Yarger, Christopher Besonen, Richard Reibel, Amber Frey, Sarah Downs, Garith Smith, Zachary Smith, Dakota Kettel, Jack Downs, Rachel Downs; step grandchildren, DJ Cash, Jennifer Peterman, Shawn Peterman, Tesa Arnold; and many great grandchildren; siblings, Vinnie Farmer, Rosie Chadwick, Harold Caudill, Toby Caudill, Thelman Deerfield, Virginia Tussey, Earline Linville, Zelma "Kathy" Young.
He was a long time member of the Free Will Baptist Church and was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed fishing and gardening; but was most proud to be a man of his word and a child of the living God.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City ,On Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Interment to follow at Galloway Cemetery. Pastor John Meade officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Sterling Free Will Baptist Church or Southwest Free Will Baptist Church.
