Linda Jane Mitchell-Bender, 77 passed away August 18th 2020. She was preceded in Death by Parents Cletus Mitchell and Rosemary Jones; step father Paul Jones; Sister, Judy Walker.
Linda is survived by brother, Phillip Mitchell; sister, Jennifer Martin; children, Angela, Elizabeth, Michelle, Shannon, Christian, and Victoria; grandchildren, Nicole, Joshua, Courtney, Gerald, Scott, Brian, Benjamin, Courtney, Chloe, Ciera, Katie, Miles, Mason; great-grandchildren, Christian, Shawn, Kenler, Christian, Robert, Jordan, Matthew; nieces and nephews, Paul, Robin, Jessica, Jenna, Anthony, Jeff; Great-nieces and nephews; Heather, Lyra, Rory, Autumn, Bear.
Linda was a wild one. She liked fast cars, rock and roll, sports and good times. Linda was always the one up for anything and the life of the party. Always smiling and laughing, there was never a stranger in her life. Linda made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed working with the public becoming an award-winning property manager for 20 years before she retired in 2006. She always had an opinion and was not afraid to share it. When she believed in something, Linda would unapologetically fight for causes she believed in, never backing down. From house cats to rabbits to raccoons she loved animals of all kinds and they loved her. She owned, raised and raced thoroughbred horses regionally for many years. To know Linda was to love Linda. She will be missed by all.
Visitation is Tuesday August 25,2020 from 5:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123
