Sherry Papworth, age 72 of Gahanna, Ohio passed away on February 26, 2021.
She was born on August 4, 1948 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Hubert and Ruth (Walters) Wilson.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Sherry leaves behind her husband Bill, her three daughters, Chris, Lane and Kimberly and her five grandchildren, Taylon, Triston, Max, Lily and Myles as well as her two grandchildren by marriage, Madrone and Mayim.
She was also deeply cherished by her three step-children, Heidi, Joey, and Beth and her grandchildren by marriage, James, Jude, Penny, Ben and Vera.
The pillar of her family, Sherry bestowed endless love, generosity and support for all whom she held dear and for that her family will be eternally grateful. Her memory will be forever etched in their hearts.
A classically trained musician, Sherry touched and inspired many through her gift and craft of piano. She generously shared her talents, not only as a dedicated piano teacher over many decades and as a skillful choir director to her church, but the memory of her ability to make a piano sing, will live in the souls of her loved ones forever.
Though her music was much more than a hobby, Sherry's professional career spanned more than 25 years at JPMorgan Chase.
Sherry was a devout Christian and faithful servant of God. Her faith and affiliation with her church held a prominent role in her life, both personally and professionally. A dear, respected and deeply loved member of her congregation, her loss will be felt by all.
A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Newcomer Northwest Chapel followed by a burial at Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville, Ohio.
