Elaine Fleming, age 76, passed away peacefully at Mount Carmel Saint Ann's Hospital on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 after complications with End Stage Kidney Failure. She was born on February 16, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate from Grove City High School, Grove City, Ohio. She served with the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War of United States, Post 9857 in Gahanna, Ohio. Employed by Walt Disney World, John Glenn Columbus International Airport, Ohio State University Hospital, Western Electric, South Western School District and Co-owned her own business with her late husband Frank (F&E Janitorial Services). She is preceded in death by Parents: Phyllis and Paul Simpson; Sister, Martha Simpson; Husbands, Franklin Fleming Sr. and Claude Fuller; Grandmother, Winona Parker-Garland; Grandfather, Charles Parker Sr.; Aunts: Viola Chambers, Leota Turner, Gwendolyn Parker-Hairston, Gladys Stevens-Parker, Harriet Dunlap; Uncles: Roy Dunlap, Henry and Jimmy Bell, Cordelle Chambers, George and Wallace Parker.; Great-granddaughters, Nila Westmoreland (Ronda) and Mikayal Winbush (Carmen). She is survived by Brother, Wray (Connie) Simpson; Children: Cheryl Carter, Candi Fuller, Cevin (India) Fuller, Corey (Nina Barton) Fuller, Roshele (James) Walker, Brenda Fleming, Carmen (Michael) Dixon, Sandra Fleming, Franklin Fleming Jr., and Eric (Cindy) Fleming; God-daughter Karen Caver; Grandchildren: Seniqua and Shala Carter (Cheryl), Zavier and Zamir Fuller (Cevin), Corey Jr. (Natalie Jones), Shacor (Katerina), Shareeka, and Corina Fuller (Corey), Jon, Shaun and Kisha Moorehead (Roshele), Kia Windbush (Brenda), Brandon Crump (Sandra), Zachary and Cameron Fleming (Frank Jr), Tasha and Sheyenne Fleming (Eric); God-grandson, Isaiah Caver (Karen); Uncle, Charles Parker Jr.; Cousins, Herbert Turner and Donnie Bell; Nieces, Erica (James Eddy) Shahid, Andrea Richardson, Wrayelle Johnson, Javina Simpson and Ronda (James) Westmoreland and special friends Rick and Debbie Geyer, Marty Johnson, Vickie Johns, Gwendolyn "Sissy" Scales and countless cherished and precious great grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9am until the time of service at 10am at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to VFW Post 9857 in Gahanna.
