Ella Mae Gall (Zimmermann), age 97 1/2, of Columbus passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021.
She was a former member of North Broadway United Methodist Church.
Graduated from Caldwell High School in 1942, Caldwell, OH.
Survived by daughters Jean Almond (Harry Hudson), Jane Hunkler (Craig); Grandchildren Scott Bolon (Jessa), Kyle and Melinda Hunkler, great-grandchildren Kaleb and Dawn Bolon. Step-sons Michael, Charles, Ron (Sandy), Kenny (Ann), step-daughters Marcia (Steve), Julie, Joanne (Mark). Step-grandchildren Mandy, Teresa, Kevin, Wesley, Robbie, Laura, Lisa, Luke, Ryan, Sarah, McKenzie Madison, Jessica and many step great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husbands Louis M. Gall, William L. Zimmermann and daughter Carol Ann Neely, step-grandchild Chelsea Atha; step-sons, Larry Gall, and Bill Atha.
Special thanks to Chrissy Smith, her very special caregiver at Claremont, she was a blessing to mom. Thanks to the staff at Canal Winchester Rehab and Bella Care Hospice for their care also.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bella Care Hospice, 110 Polaris Pkway, suite 302, Westerville, OH 43082.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, September 27th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery, Columbus - OH.
