On Thursday, August 18, 2022, Gary Eisnaugle, 83, loving husband and father, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Grove City, OH.
Gary was born on August 23, 1938, in Columbus, OH, to Paul and Mildred (Babbert) Eisnaugle. He graduated from Marion Franklin High School in 1957, and for 34 years he worked as a postal carrier for the U.S. Post Office. On July 19, 1958, he married the love of his life, Carol Schumacher. They raised three children, David, Pamela, and Robert.
Gary was known to be not only a gentleman, but also a gentle man. His love of faith, family, and community lifted the spirits of those lucky enough to have known him. His passion for the roar of a Harley-Davidson led him to a spiritual renewal with the motorcycle ministry at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Other interests included wearing and owning anything cowboy-related, and browsing antique shops with his wife.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Paul; his mother, Mildred; and his brother, Tom. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, David (Rochelle), Pamela, and Robert; his grandchildren, Cameron, Brie, Emma, and Sara; his sister, Linda; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on August 27, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road Grove City, OH. The service will begin at 12pm with Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Lunch will be provided following service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church.
