Linda (Preble) Boyed passed from this world to heaven on November 28 2022. She battled cancer for many years, but God had the final victory when He took His daughter to glory and away from her suffering.
She was greeted in heaven by her father and mother, Richard Preble and Teresa (Minaugh) Preble, her brother, Richard Preble Jr., 2nd father, Bill Boyed, her nephew, Neil Alan Bucholz, and 26 children that did not survive invitro-fertilization. She is survived by her soul mate and husband of 36 years, Mark Boyed, her greatest love and son, Connor Boyed, her 2nd mother, Karen Boyed, her sisters and families, Laura and Chris Preble-Klich, Barb and Scott Lovett, Ann and Geoffrey Cason, Denise and Mark Cabrera, Jamie Boyed, and Caron and Elmer Martin. She will also be missed deeply by so many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew, friends, family, and friends that are family.
Linda was first and foremost a Christian and a child of the living God. Her life was marked by her love for everyone she knew. She was a graduate of Lima Senior High School in 1984 and a Graduate of The Ohio State University in 1996. She served others as an Occupational Therapist for many years and saw her work as her mission to spread the love of Christ. Her favorite verse was Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
There will be two memorial services to make it easier for friends and family. The first service will be where any gifts will be sent and will be held at Lima Missionary Baptist Church 3085 Yoder Rd, Fort Shawnee, OH from 6PM – 7PM for visitation and 7PM – 8PM for service on December 8th. The second service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home 10051 Brewster Lane Powell, OH from 10AM – Noon on December 10th.
