Our beloved Deborah (Debbie) Lynn Roush passed away on January 10, 2023, surrounded by family with comfort and love. She was 74.
Debbie was born in Columbus, OH on July 3, 1948, to the late Jack and Mary Nell Quickle. Debbie spent most of her life in Columbus until moving to Florida where she finished her school years. Shortly after graduating from high school, she followed her heart back to Columbus where she built a beautiful life and family.
Debbie was a loving wife, mother and the best "Gram" to her grandchildren Ryan and Rylee. She proudly shared pictures and stories of her grandkids with whomever came her way. They were her pride and joy. She loved spending time at the river, watching the Buckeyes, going to Cousins' dinners, traveling, or simply sitting around the table or a fire with the ones she loved the most with her White Zinfandel. She was a friend to everyone and touched the hearts of many. She will be loved and missed by all.
Debbie is survived by her loving and adoring husband of 52 years, Gary Roush, daughter, and best friend Heather (Terry) Mason; grandchildren Ryan and Rylee Mason; sister Jacquie (Larry) Thompson; many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Everyone she met was special in their own way and had meaning in her life, but especially her forever sidekicks, Sherry, Elouise and Connie. Gracie, her sweet yorkie was by her side every minute of the day and will miss her terribly.
We invite friends and family to join us for a Celebration of Life to love, honor and remember Debbie on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 6:00PM at the Columbus Firefighters Local 67 Union Hall, 379 W. Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215. She would want this time spent together for everyone to share memories and stories of her life.
As a family we would like to thank everyone for the acts of kindness, comforting messages, overwhelming love, friendship, and support received in the past few weeks. It shows what an impression she made on so many.
In lieu of sending flowers/plants if you wish to memorialize her; donations can be made to Cypress Church (377 Alton Darby Road, Galloway, OH 43119) in her memory.
