David Howard

David "Dave" Howard, age 89, passed away on March 23, 2023. He was born on September 25, 1933 to the late Willard and Grace (Gochenour) Howard in Grove City, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife of 67 years, Virginia "Ginny" Howard, brothers Pete and Lowell Howard. Dave is survived by his loving daughters and sons Diane (Mike) Hayes, Sharon (Jim) Maguire, LuAnn (Tim) Banks, Jennifer (Steve) Cox and Lori (Mike) Clotz, grandchildren Kelly (Jeff) Sumption, Tricia Maguire, Jeffrey Banks, Stephanie (Mike) DuRussel, Kathleen (Brian) Mozell, Mari Cox, Brendan (Asha) Clotz and Bethany Clotz, great grandchildren Braden Sumption, Connor Sumption, Kennedy Mozell and Lennon Mozell, sister Ann (Mike) Fraley.

He served in the U.S. Army as a marksman, member of the Masonic Lodge for over 65 years, long time active member of Buckeye Christian Church, Grove City, OH. He retired from Harry Wellnitz Company. Dave was an avid reader, loved to fish and hunt. He loved working in his garden and woodworking. He was an encourager, listener and a great hugger. He will be missed.

Friends may call at Buckeye Christian Church, 1528 London Groveport Rd, Grove City, OH on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:30 until time of service at 12:30pm. Entombment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
