Mary Louise Felske Riley, age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 27, 2023. She was born on June 12, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James Riley and her first born son, Mike Riley.
Survived by children, Sheryl (Steve) Douglas, Rick (Anita) Riley, and Don (Janet) Riley of Columbus, Ohio, and Lynda (Dave) Kowalski and daughter-in-law, Connie Riley of Grove City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a loving and faithful caregiver to her husband during his 3 year battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease.
She was a longtime, faithful member of Memorial Baptist Church where she accepted Jesus as her Savior when she was 9 years old and was a Sunday school teacher, Awana leader, Maternity Resource Center worker and choir member for many years. Her testimony followed her wherever she went.
She was a resident of Hilltop Senior Village for 18 years where she had many friends over the years and always had a kind word, a sweet smile, and a helpful hand to many on her daily walks around the buildings.
Mary loved to travel and spend time with her husband and family. She was a devoted and loving homemaker and wonderful mom who always made every birthday and holiday special for her family. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and crocheting baby sweaters, shawls, and afghans for many people.
Visitation Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2-4pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10:30am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
