Scott Eugene Dort, 61, passed away peacefully, Wednesday on October 4, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1961 in Columbus, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett L. Dort and Ruth M. (Carter) Dort, siblings, Keith M. Dort, Steve K. Dort.

Surviving family includes loving wife, Nicole, sisters, Andrea P. Hagen, Tammy M. Hull, brother, Everett M. (Julie) Dort, mother-in-law, Ida Gomer, nieces, Megan Baird, McKenna Upthegrove, Shannon Sparks, Jodi Solis, Brandy Riviera, nephews, Matthew Dort, Jared Dort, Evan Dort, Robert Hagen and Ian Dort.

Graveside services will be held at South Lawn Cemetery, 1317 Cemetery Drive, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1pm.

Scott had a gift to make people laugh and had been on hospice care for many months. May he go to heaven and know spiritual peace. "The pain of parting is nothing to the joy of meeting again." - Charles Dickens

Scott, you were my world, my friend, my soulmate and my everything. The love I have for you now will last eternally.

I miss your warmth, I miss your strength, I miss your lovely smile, I wish I could see your face again, even for a little while.

Thank you for your devoted love that helps me through each day and for all the precious memories that will never fade away.

I hope that you have felt at peace since we said goodbye, in my heart I know that we will be together again in time.
