Richard Wayne Rhodes

Richard Wayne Rhodes became one with the force on December 18, 2023. On earth he lived a life filled with Love, Strength, and Compassion. He had a 26 year marriage and 31 year relationship with his wife and soul mate: Alyson Indya Rhodes.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dean and Belva (Fields) Perrine, Sister, Tonya Harrison, Fur Babies, Gilligan, Aayla, and Luke. Along with his loving wife, he is survived by his siblings, Steve (Vida) Perrine, Sherry (Les) Long, Paul (Christy) Harrison, Marcia Harrison, Beth Harrison, Paula Harrison, Lori (Travis) Norvell, Jenny Knight, and 7 nieces and 12 nephews.
He championed and persevered through 54 years of paraplegia and 6 years of end stage renal failure. If you asked him how he was doing he always said: Great. He was an inspiration to his wife. He received his BS in Computer Information Systems at DeVry. He was a software engineer at CheckFree.
He contributed his time towards good works such as providing book editing and book reviews for new writers. He assisted people in finding their biological families through DNA detection. He contributed articles to Street Speech Columbus to help homeless people earn money by selling the newspaper. Volunteering and giving back was his nature.
